Genna Mark is a producer, on-air talent, a passionate sports, music and movie fanatic, with a keen eye for creating content and capturing that “special moment” on camera.
Delivering “more than your typical interview,” Genna has a knack for uncovering the rare, special characteristics of the talent she interviews, allowing each interviewee to reveal their true self throughout their conversations.
In her television career, she spent more than 6 years at WSVN in Miami, the nation’s number 16 media market, where she built trusted relationships with sports stars like Dwyane Wade, Lebron James and Shaquille O’Neal. Genna covered every major sporting event in Miami – from the HEAT’s runs to the NBA Finals to every one of the University of Miami Hurricanes’ bowl games – since she began her career with WSVN in 2011. In the entertainment world, she was Deco Drive’s go-to producer and talent for covering movie junkets, where she traveled the US and beyond to capture engaging content with Hollywood heavyweights like Emma Stone, to Dakota Johnson and Steve Carell.
Born and raised in Miami, Genna graduated from the University of Miami School of Education with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration (class of 2010). As a proud alumna, she is a member of the Hurricane Club.
In her spare time, Genna enjoys working out, traveling and being a philanthropist. She is an advocate for many causes throughout her community. Genna’s passion for helping those in need is evident through her commitment to philanthropy. She has served on committees for events such as the PAMM Art of the Party REMIX fundraiser, is a Young Founder of Mt. Sinai Medical Center and has helped Global Empowerment Mission, which provides aid, relief and helps rebuild areas that have been affected by natural disasters. She also supports the Miami HEAT, Miami Dolphins and DJ Irie’s philanthropic endeavors. When Genna’s career brought her to Manhattan in 2018, her commitment to philanthropy continued. She immediately dove into the supporting YJP NYC and Orphaned Starfish Foundation, two causes that remain close to her heart.
